Birdman & Young Thug Under Investigation For Lil Wayne’s Tour Bus Shooting
It appeared that the dust had settled for a moment, but now Lil Wayne, Birdman, and Young Thug are heading to court again after new evidence in the tour bus shooting case has come to surface.
Tunechi’s bus was shot at back in 2015 and eventually Thug’s road manager Jimmy Carlton Winfrey received charges for aggravated assault, terrorist threats, possession of a firearm by a felon, and criminal gang activity. Winfrey was sentenced to ten years with an additional ten on probation but he had his ruling overturned back in July. Now evidence of a phone call Birdman made to him in prison and a call log with Thugger has been released to the court. The District Attorney has four weeks to build their case against them as conspirators.
Jimmy rang Jeffery eight times within twelve minutes leading up to the shooting and he later took a call from Birdman who said:
“Time for you to come out here and get your money. You did everything you could do boss. It’s eye-opening. It’s strictly business man.”
The YSL rapper and Wayne’s beef has been going on for years and it even spilled into an announcement about Barter 7 yesterday.
In related news, Weezy recently came to an agreement with Baby making him the sole owner of Young Money.
Neither Birdman or Young Thug have been charged with anything at this time so check back for more details as they become available. Tha Carter V is available on Apple Music, Spotify, and other digital services now.
