Kogi state students are enjoying rancor-free Education without Hitch and Incessant Strikes of lecturers during the tenure of their present governor Yahaya Bello
According to the information gathered, It was disclosed that Governor Yahaya Bello has allocated 20 percent of the state’s annual total budget to the state education sector from now till the end of his tenure.
The evaluations of schools in the state are described as one of the commendable achievements during the GYB tenure. He has made the education sector his number one priority and has promised to revamp the education sector.
Furthermore, Gov Yahaya Bello had recently inaugurated a committee to cater for the 285 public secondary schools in the state Education For All Project (EDUFAP) and will provide infrastructure, renovations, equipping laboratories and libraries as well as manpower in schools among others.
The state government had also given approval for a huge incentive welfare package that would boost and encourage the morale of the teachers in the state.
The Kogi state student Commended the Governor for his commitment, Effort and saying Kogi is the only state whose students are enjoying rancor-free education without a strike and enjoying an over 300 percent increase in bursary. Ditto, workers. This has never happened before since the creation of Kogi state.
